I've never seen any analysis or test results of fuel filters for our trucks, so it's going to be a case of what you trust and how badly you want to save $$. For my money, the filter from the dealer is probably going to be excellent; something you can trust. 1sttoyotaparts.com sells them for $26 plus shipping.

autohausaz.com typically does not stock any substandard parts; so if they sell it, it's probably pretty good. They sell an NPN which may be the OEM for $36. They also offer Bosch for $23 and Interfil for $22. They offer free ship on orders over $50.

Rockauto sells a Beck/Arnley for $14 (and one left on clearance for $7.46). Beck/Arnley doesn't make parts; they source them from all over. I have a B/A on my truck at the moment and the exterior of it at least seemed good quality. rockauto also sells a Mann filter for $9 which is a German brand (Amsoil recommends Mann oil filters). It is probably a paper filter that doesn't have a real fine mesh but which is probably a good quality filter. Same comment applies to the Wix, which rockauto sells for $12.49. NAPA sells the Wix rebranded as the NAPA Gold filter for $19. I would avoid the Fram; their oil filters have repeatedly been shown to be complete garbage; I wouldn't trust their fuel filters either.

Note that filters are sold either with or without the mounting bracket. I find it's easier to buy one with, but you can reuse the old one with a bit more trouble.

Since it's a lot of trouble to change the fuel filter, and since it's important to have a good one to prevent clogging a fuel injector, the Toyota filter is probably the safest bet.
