I have been looking for the person that has the belt numbers in their signature, but haven't been able to see them lately. I was wondering if someone knew what belts I'm going to need to purchase before installing the fan on the truck.

electric fans dont need any aditional belts bud, You just unbolt it from one of the pulleys. And the room gained is where the electric fan assembly sits it now.

Here are the part numbers for the belts I used, I bought them at AutoZone and they're just cheap belts but at least they'll be a number you can cross reference if you go somewhere else and/or buy better belts.

I didn't use a write-up per say, just went off of info here and what I could find off the net. I originally did it on my '90 4Runner because I was the victim of the exploding fan carrier/bearings and the e-fan was the cheap way out. I ended up using a huge Bosch relay to handle the switching duties. The power to the relay was provided by continuous power and the switched ground used a coolant temp senor (normally open) that was placed in the upper radiator hose. The only problem I've had is that the originally coolant temp sensor went bad and had to replace it. It's a good thing I had my eye on the temp gauge because the fan never kicked on with the bad temp sensor. If I were to do it again it might be a good idea to use 2 sensors independantly wired vs. one. I've used this set-up towing (3000 lbs), with the A/C, etc. and it seems to do the job just fine. I did notice a little better throttle response and a slight increase in gas mileage (1-2 mpg). I ended up using a cutting wheel to cut the 'nose' off of the original fan mount to clear the belts, other than that no other mods really. I have some really crappy pics if you'd like me to email them to you, they're not the greatest but they'll probably give you a better idea of what's going on.

my fan is wired through a switch that mounts in the rad fins....works great the only thing i should have added was a fan overide...that way i could turn it off if i decided to cross any deep water

I do need those belts correct because I'm removing the belt driven fan and need shorter belts. Correct?

Any and All info would be helpful. I have a friend coming over to help with the install that rewired his engine when he did a swap on his 240sx. I'm sure he can make it work, but it's always nice to have guidelines reguardless.
