I just ordered a kit off ebay. It is ball joints, tie rods, and Idler Arms for around $220 or something. Give me a bit and i'll get you the auction number. Other guys had good reviews on here of the guy and the kits.

make sure you get ball joints that are grease-able. otherwise, I can't recommend a particular brand. I purchased a set from autozone with a lifetime warrantee. So I figure keep them greased and they'll last a long time.

see this post http://tinyurl.com/6z8m4g

The brand "555" aka "Three Five" is from Japan and are really nice parts. They can be found from Advance auto in Federal Mogul TRW boxes, or if you ask the parts person to look inside the box, they may be in any other name brand box, even labeled 'Moog' or 'Sankei'. I had Rock Auto send me Moog ball joints; inside the boxes was 1 Moog ball joint, and the other Moog box had a 555 ball joint. Go figure, globablization at it's best.

I used the same kit. I think the guys name was armcan or something like that. No complaints from me on him or his kit.

I just installed MOOG upper and lowers. Seemed to be good quality, and they're greasable. I think (don't quote me) the lowers were somwhere around $90-110, and the uppers were around $65 each from Autopartswarehouse.com. No the best service, but low prices and free shipping (over $100).

The ebay balljoints and idler arms are garbage. They will only last a year. Its hard to give feedback to an ebay sale after a year. Been there done that, buy Toyota OEM parts from toyotapartssales. Its not that the balljoints are greasaable or not its what they are made of inside the balljoint.

I wouldn't sweat the greasable part, the OEMs that lasted all these years were factory sealed.

Moog might sell you an incorrect upper joint (see my post on aggravating search....)

Make sure your new uppers have the same footprint. You can take your ball joint spacer to the parts store and use it match up. If the aftermarket profile doesn't match the profile of the ball joint spacers, don't get it. Just looking at how those cocked the wheels at an odd angle on my truck it would have been fun to try to align it after if I had left them in.
