Axle from 86 4x4 22re ok for 95 4x4 3.0???

A few months back I took the axle out of my old 86 22re and threw it in my DD,the 95 4x4 3.0,the axle I removed from my DD had a serious buzzing, and changed pitch when I took my foot off the accelerator. The axles looked the same to me.But after helping me out with the tranny drop today (from the parts truck in my front yard) a yotatechie said it was gonna be an issue. The parts truck is also a 3.0,which I removed yesterday, the 5 speed manual tranny today,I was going to remove the axle also for a rainy day,but decided not to.Someones coming to pick up the carcuss of the truck tomorrow for $150.I have a 3 part question. Will the axle from the 22re hold up under the 3.0?Should I remove the axle from the parts truck?Should I remove clutch pedal, master cylander and slave from parts truck?I think the answer to #1 depends on #2.And I also think #3 is a given seeing as how I went through all the trouble to remove the tranny. And whether I do a tranny swap someday on my truck or sell it it would be conveniant to have all the parts.Just want some other opinions.Thanx yo

WAY more trouble than it's worth IMO.

The 22re axle has two pinion bearings in the differential- the 3vze has 4 so it's slightly stronger- may be worth it to remove the axle as that could save you a bit in the future.

Clutch related parts are different between the 22re and 3vze, but similar in cost, and not all that expensive, and both are readily available in wrecking yards and from various stores.
