Autozone clutch? Marlin clutch?

Autozone clutch? Marlin clutch?

Alright, a lot of you already know my rig, but...
1994 Toyota Pickup, 4x4, W56 manual transmission, stock 4:10 gearing.
Im replacing my transmission in a couple days and im going to go ahead and put a new clutch, pressure plate, release bearing, rear main seal, all that good stuff in it...
But my question is, Should i go with the stock Autozone clutch, or should i invest a little more money for the Marlin Crawler clutch? Is it any better?
I dont rock crawl, i play in the mud a little bit, but mostly i stay on asphalt.
Would it be better for my 33's im running? And i plan on putting 35's/36's on soon with 5.29's and a yukon or detroit locker, so im guessing a more heavy duty clutch would be better? Which size should i get, 1,200...1,600...1,800...Or 2,100?
And should i get the flywheel turned? Whats the point of this?

Thats what i was thinking, but ive never dealt with marlin personally.
Better quality?

Marlin has great quality products, I have ordered 3 times from them their always late on shipping the stuff out to you but its good stuff

Heavy duty. As good of, if not better, quality than an OEM clutch.
I'd never buy an autozone clutch just to save some cash.

If you don't need the HD clutch, I'd stick with OEM Aisin clutch.

I want to say SERIUOSLY!!!!! Marlin for sure. :-) I'm running the 1200lbs heard good things about centerforce stage 2 also but never ran one.

Autozone or Marlin is like Pabst Blue Ribbon or Chimay. I would choose quality over low cost any day

Ever since I got stuck in a jam on the Jersey Turnpike for 3 1/2 hours, moving about five miles in that time, and my clutch leg developed a cramp so bad I was seeing stars and wished I were dead, I have been very leery of stronger-than stock clutches, since they do require more pedal effort. Just sayin. I know that owners of the Marlin clutch report that pedal effort isn't increased too much, which is good, but it's bound to increase some.

That waskilly wabbit clutch is an awesome Aisin Seco kit, top quality, and imo it was a bargain even before the 10% sale.

IIRC the Marlin clutch uses an Aisin (now calling themselves ASCO) pressure plate, like the wabbit's kit, but stiffer springs.

My 1200# clutch feels lighter than my dads stock clutch.
We both have the same engine and same transmissions.

I like my LUK clutches .

Don`t have any issues .

Then I really don`t have a need for anything heavy duty.

I will take made in South Africa over made in China any day.

I might have to try one of Wabbit`s clutch kits

You can never have to many clutches Clutch kit and cylinders ordered from Wab Fab ***

Marlin, never heard anything but good stuff.

my autozone clutch in my '86 22R started to slip a lil at around 8000miles...

the one in my '92 4runner (autozone as well, it was cheap it'll be otay..wont be in for long ) is still great but i only have about 1200 miles on it lol

I have a Centerforce Stage 2, and it's great.No too stiff on the pedal, and grabs like a mofo.Haven't had any issues with it slipping or anything.

I would go with either the Marlin, or an Oem Aisin.Wouldn't even consider the autozone.

Autozone has a clutch which is actually a heavy duty Zoom brand.
