Auto tranny fluid and filter change

I need to change the filter and fluid in my A340E and was curious as to how much fluid it takes with just a filter change. I looked it up on Autozone's website and it says 1.7 quarts. I'm kind of weary about that. Seems a little low or am I just being paranoid not being used to something that takes so little. My F250 diesel takes about 9 quarts.

Any help would be great. Thanks

you should do a search on flushing your tranny it gets mostly all the fluid out, its pretty easy if you have a tranny cooler, if you could tell us what your working on i could walk you through it, because yeah if you just drop the tranny pan and your filter your only gonna get around 2qaurts. i used about 10 quarts when i flushed my tranny a while back
