Auto hubs, cold weather, odd noise and clunks

88 4runner automatic hubs (not ADD). 305k miles.

Problem:

Cold mornings (well cold for my AZ blood) like 35 degrees and cooler the hubs make a buzzing sound at speed and when I slow to a stop there's a handful of clunks then a big clunk as I come to a complete stop, vibrations can be felt during each clunk with the last clunk being the worst. It will usually do this for 5 miles or so then disappear until the next morning. I read something similar here on the forum (https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f2/n...ront-hub-4919/) but my symptoms are a little different (the clunks). Anyone have an idea about what may be the cause? Both CVs we're replaced about 3k miles ago, along with bearings and a good tear down, clean and rebuild of the hubs. I do have BJ spacers but the t bars are not cranked. Also I have stock length shocks still...waiting for funds and time...any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
Jordan
