Anybody running a pro long block from LCE?
Looks like I will have to do a motor swap at some point in the future and LCE has my dream motor, bit expensive for me but if it lasts as long as a stock motor I might be sold (if I can ever manage to save enough money for it.)
Just wondering what peoples experience is with it, mpg, and how much of a performance gain there is...it would be sweet to be able to tow with no worries with my 22re

for that much, you could consider other swaps. Most of your questions lce is prolly the only one that can answer them.
You could also look at a 3rz swap, i believe they have the same motor mounts, and will bolt up to your 4cylinder transmission.
off road solutions has a wiring harness for it too that makes it a plug in thing to your efi.

I've got around 30k miles on an LCE long block(the EFI pro). There is a noticable differance from stock. Its not a V8, don't expect miracles from it. I'm running 33"tire/4.88 gear combo and the truck is just plain fun to drive with one of thier engines in it. I'm getting around 18-21 mpg with around 70% on the highway. If I drive with a heavy foot it's around 16-18mpg.
The biggest thing I noticed was going over highway overpasses, closest thing to a hill we have in south FL. In 5th gear it would not only keep the speed I wanted, I could speed up a little without down shifting.
If your even thinking of spending that much coin, get on the phone with LCE and get ALL of your questions answered.
