you need to regear both front and rear, otherwise your Tcase will be :pssied:
and no, if you regear the rear the 5.29 and keep front stock, the fronts will spin faster then the rear.

Or don't use 4WD Oh you would be ok if you were just in some mud or very loose dirt, but if you hit something with any traction it will be like driving with the parking brake on and be very bad for the transfer case.
