Another 2nd Gen!

I couldn't pass the deal on this 1990 w/ 378, XXX miles and it was rare to see one in this condition down in TX so I scooped it up for a decent price! From what I can tell it's got a Trailmaster Lift front and rear on it looks like the rear tire carrier was removed and plugged up and the tailgate was replaced with one that wasn't meant for it. other than that basically stock v6 with a rod knock which I plan to R&R with a new one clean up the dooki brown interior maybe some new carpet and insulation and either keep it or sell it. 5 speed with a sunroof kinda liking compared to my auto. Definitely going to put on some doug thorley headers with exhaust on this one and possibly other little mods to improve it's zip. Tell me what yall think and any advice would be appreciated on this model I know it is similar to my 95 but there are some differences but not much! First thing to do is get rid of that bumper not really a fan of it if anyone wants to trade for a 92 and up grille headlights and bumper assembly here in TX! Hit me up w/ a PM quite possibly going to get rid of the wheels for something else and if anyone has some manual hubs they would like to sell let me know.

nice find on a 2 door!! You gonna rebuild the motor yourself, or get a drop in long block from someone like Oregon engines? That thing is still really clean, especially for how many miles are on the ticker. And actually, you can't see the bumper in great detail but it looks decent on there. Have fun with the project!!

Going to get a drop in replacement out of Dallas they build pretty reputable motors and have seen ones on supra making over 600 hp from there machine shop and still going strong! Interior is really clean for a 90 the usual wear and tear on the driver seat but thats it, I 'll get some interior pics for you guys tomorrow.

are those Honda passport/ Isuzu Rodeo rims? They look close to the "snowflake" rims.

Actually that is the rear coolant crossover hose in the back that is leaking. I'll take care of all that issue once I pull the motor out.
