AMSOIL synthetic 75/90 Gear lube in manual 5 speed transmission
Hi Folks..I have a gallon of amsoil 75/90 synthetic gear lube that I bought about 20 years ago and I am just now getting around to using it. I would like to replace the oil in my tranny with this oil. I have a 5 speed manual transmission. My FSM says to use gl4/gl5 75/90 oil. Any problems with switching to a synthetic oil? The amsoil label says it is good for application of GL2 thru GL5. What about compatability with old tranny oil? Thanks.

Thanks for information from Amsoil. I will sell it to my neighbor so he can put it in his "Dodge". LOL. Just kidding.
