Altrom parts any good?

Napa sells Altrom parts as their upgraded line. They are definitely more expensive in most cases than their house brands. A buddy tells me that Altrom parts are very good quality and they actually make a lot of OEM parts for Toyota? He says you can buy the part from Napa and save a lot of money, or you can buy the same part in a Toyota box from the dealer and pay a bunch more. Any truth to this? In my case I need a fan clutch and the price difference is $92.

Can't say if they are better or not but I just install a sensor on a friends dodge from napa ,and it had the mopar symbol on it. He was told that the company also made the mopar parts.

I believe at least the rocker arms on the 22r/22re??? are OEM Altrom, do a few searches on here, they have been mentioned before, but yes some parts on the Toyota's are Altrom.

I work for napa, so everything I buy for my truck is through us. I always go Altrom because of my employee discount, we stock everything I need, or can order it. A good example is I just did the rear axle seals and bearings. Our cheap chinese napa ones were more expensive than the Atrom, and I could see the difference.

That is the best price I've seen so far on Aisin fan clutches. Might just have to pick one up for a later date
