Hey guys, i have a pair of 33 x 12.5's and i want to put them on my stock 94 4runner. What can i do to make em fit (without rubbing) without getting a lift. Also, if a lift is definitely needed, what kind should i get and where can i get it for cheap.

Hammer the pinch weld really good.
You'll need to take computer out of the passenger side kick panel before you do any heavy hammering.
You'll need to trim the bumper and valence.
Move the back mudflaps behind the steel support.
Take off the front mudflaps.
Lots of test fitting.

2 inch body lift if you dont want to hammer or cut.

I have never done a body lift nor do i know anyone who has. How complicated is the install and what modifications might i need to do that are not included in a body lift kit?

search more for info on 33s, I know I've seen some guys who fit em with no lift. most say you can fit 33x10.50 with no trimming reqd.

Has info on both the fender trimming and other options. A lot depend on the wheel/tire combo as width and wheel backspacing are both important.

The site said I could do a 1.5" ball joint spacer and a coil spacer...would I need to extend any steering, shifter, brakeline with a lift like that?

I run them with ZERO lift on a 4" BS wheel, hammered pinch weld ZERO rubbing on the trail. Had to trim the front plastic valance a hair too.

i definitely endorse 4crawler's 1" body lift kit. it's added a little bit of clearance in a bunch of critical areas where wrenching would be tight, in addition to the benefit for tire clearance.

remarkably easy to do as well if you pre-soak your bolts a day in advance. with just a floor jack i was done within an hour.

All the info you will ever need to know about body lifts is there...including necessary extensions and when they are needed. You gotta read a little.
