AFM Woes
I've been having some problems with the 22RE lately and I just got around to testing a handful of items, however the AFM seems to be the culprit here.
Tested per the FSM:
E2-VS = 3.63 K Ohms (FSM Spec: 20-400 Ohms)
E2-VC = 179.4 Ohms
E2-VB = 279 Ohms
E2-THA = 2.33K Ohms (@ room temperature)
E1-FC = Infinity (with flap fully closed)
E1-FC @ flap fully closed = Infinity Ohms
@ flap anything but closed = 0 Ohms
E2-VS @ flap fully closed = 3.63 K Ohms (FSM Spec 20-400 Ohms)
@ flap fully open = 650 Ohms, +/- 250 Ohms (it constantly fluctuates) (FSM Spec 20-1200 Ohms)
I am assuming this is the cause of why my engine misses at 2300-3000 light throttle no load.
In conclusion, does anyone have an AFM they'd like to get rid of for a 1988 22re? The part No. on my current one is 22250-35020
