To advance or retard? 22re
Hello masters of all,
I have a decent size build going on here and I am normally a turbo guy but I went n/a with this one. I got an adjustable cam gear and was wondering whether to advance or retard. I really have no idea but I have a 1* retard on it now but when i tuned it my distributor is rotated almost all the way clockwise which is advanced... right? You can read my build here if you want because not everything is stock...

but basically its a stock bottom end with a performance head from 22re performance. The cam is a 270 duration and 220 @.050. Also the exhaust is a 2" but the intake is stock for now. The guy who had it before me might have done the supra maf swap but I'm not sure. Also, bonus question, should I gap the rocker lash the same on that cam? Thanks guys.
