ADD vacuum lines

There are two ADD vacuum solenoids, a brown and a blue on the passenger's side of the engine bay, that connect to the two metal tubes coming out of the front diff. I forgot to mark them before they came off, so I am wondering if anyone knows which line connects to which tube, or would be willing to check.

Thanks

well there are only two possible combinations...so try it one way. If that doens't work to lock in your ADD, switch them. Pretty simple methinks.

Or just yank that ADD setup out and put in a diff from an 86-89

THink that's what I'm going to do. Like hell I'm ever going to take the diff out again. Its a total pain to put back in. Besides, I honestly like the ADD. I leave my hubs locked in the winter thus I ADD is a good thing.

Matt on mine the blue one was for locking it i think, and the brown was for unlocking. Maybe, i could be wrong. Jack up the front, and mess around with the lines, plug one in then, throw it in 4wd then spin one wheel, if the other one spins on the other side then your good to go! You get the idea!

Good luck

Did you just say you leave your hubs locked with your ADD system?

In the winter, yes I leave them locked.

In the summer I unlock them to reduce wear on the CV boots and axles.
