ADD to manual hubs, 4wd no workie
I have a 91 4runner I did a 3.4 swap on (which shouldnt really have any affect on this). I swapped out the ADD hubs with factory manual hubs, and locked the actuator over. I have verified that both hubs engage and disengage as they are supposed to. When I put it in 4lo, the rear end gears down super low as it should, but my front just doesnt lock. Like I said, I have verified the hubs are locked correctly and have locked the actuator fork....what else should I be looking for?

I assumed maybe the collar slipped when put the actuator on the first time, so I even pulled it off to make sure the fork locked the collar, and it was good. I know the front is not locking though; even though it gears down low in 4lo like it should, the front wheels arent getting any power, so the back still spins on dirt

If you followed the write-up here, the actuator is in the wrong position. I've contacted a moderator but the bad info is still there.
Correct 'engaged' position:
Put it in 2wd, front wheels off the ground, hubs locked, and turn one side. The other side should spin the opposite direction if the differential is engaged properly (assuming you don't have a locker).

I've contacted another moderator. Hopefully they do something about it. I want to know first of all how that thread made it into the write-up section, and second how it's still there 2.5 years later.
