AC hose fitting stripped :(
So for some reason, after I finished my 3.4 swap, my a/c hose coming from the compressor to the fitting coming out of the firewall was VERY short. I was able to stretch it enough to get it connected, but after some time it pulled the threads off of the fitting coming out of the firewall. How would you fix it? I know that hose comes from the evaporator core in the dash, but it doesnt actually come with a new evaporator when I looked. I cant find that specific hose. Try to re-thread it?

Yea I am going to get the one lengthened, but I dont know what to do about the stripped threads on the one coming out of the firewall. Its a hard line that comes from the evaporator through the firewall.
