AC Evaporator Box
I have the avaporator box out of the truck and all of the clips and screws out, but the box will not seperate. IS it glued? Or are there little "tits" holding the halves together right under wwhere the clips were? I do not want to bust the box, just want to make sure there is nothing holding it too that i wil snap off.
Thanks

hmm if you took all the screws out and all the clips then it should seperate. Mine came apart without problem. Double check all your screws and clips. Might have missed one.

i just did mine the other day.
Its just kinda stuck together. I gently pried my a little starting at the holes where the tubes exited. And once it was started...it came apart nicely.

Thanks!! It was just a bit "sticky". There was some kind of sealent holding it together. Now the battle is to get the line from th eevaporator to the expansion valve to come off. THe connection is tight and i know it will slip and i will put the wrench throguh the radiator
