'96 Land Cruiser e-locker into 2nd gen 8" diff?

I have been doing tons of research on modifying the rear diff case for my 4 cy 8" rear to accept a 96'+ tacoma e-locker diff.

recently i found a rear 4.10 factory e-locked rear from a '96 Land Cruiser for a good deal. I've been searching high and low on a bunch of forums but can't seem to confirm if this model of LC used an 8" and if it would fit my carrier. Is it the same differential as one would find in a '96 Tacoma? I didn't want to purchase without knowing for sure.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

'96 is an FZJ-80. It uses a 9.5" rear end. Have to use the whole axle (I've got one)
