95 4runner rear lift

Hi guys, I've got the sagging rear issue that everyone has but I'm gunna get some heavier load OME rear springs because I will be towing and running a roof rack with larger tires, and loaded down with gear, it will be pretty heavy. My question is with shocks mine are shot and will replace anyway. Does anyone have suggestions on the best? I'm looking at the 5100(i believe) Bilstiens, but what size would be best 10", 12", or 14" travel? Thanks guys and where can i source the best panhard drop bracket? all of the research I've done comes up with j**p ones- will they fit?

Welcome to Yotatech fella. Those OME rear lift coils are similar to the Downey Offroad 1.5" lift coils I just installed. I went cheap and went with Pro Comp ES9000 shocks. I believe they were good for 0" to 1" lift.

Go with a shock made for a 1" to 2" lift as that's what the OME's give you. Do a search on Bing or Goggle (or your search engine of choice) on this subject and the threads dealing with this on here and other sites will come up. Yes, Bilstiens are a popular and good shock.

There is a member on here by the name of 4Crawler who has his own site that has his own panhard drop bracket here. I still have to order mine -- a 4" drop is what I need.

Hey Dave question for ya.

So I like most have the usual read end sag. I bought ome 900, and ranchero 5000, but I went with stock height on height on the shocks. I read the ome will settle to the usual stock height which is why I went stock height.

I'm about to start move for a summer job in two days to I may just take the gear with me and do it over the summer vs rushing to do it now.

Hope to hear back.
