95 4Runner - Installing new radio trouble

I recently attempted at installing a used Alpine stereo into my 95 4Runner, with disastrous results. I am quite certain that I wired the stereo correctly, but I believe I may have blown a hidden fuse (the clock and interior front door lights no longer work, but the cigarette lighter still does...).

The fuses on the driver side are all fine, but is there something I'm missing such as another fuse behind the stereo or improper grounding?

Thanks.

Did you check the fuse block under the hood? I forget where the fuse is for that stuff.

check all the fuses one by one.....both inside the car and under the hood.....something like this happend to me on my civic and overlooked one of the fuses, so I checked it twince and found it. and next time, disconnect the ground battery to void this.

and the fuses behind the kick panel on the driver's side?

there's a thread active right now where someone mention their stereo wasn't working, and neither was their horn. they check the horn fuse and sure enough it was blown. replaced the horn fuse, and magically the stereo started working too

After looking at the wiring diagram.

I would say either the 15A Dome fuse is blown or the wiring from the dome fuse to the radio is disconnected.

double check the wires

hey i recently intalled a alpine 9881 head unit in my 92 toy aswell. my gauges n tail lights stoped working because i was blowing the fuse because i had one wire the wrong way on the head unit.you can go to....the12volt.com.....just enter ur vehicle and year and it will tell you wich wire is for what coming from the stock harness. my mistake was the ground i accidently wired it to a power source that connected the tail lights. you more than likely have a blown fuse in the driver side kick panel. hope this helps you.
