95 4Runner has no power on acceleration
I bought a 95 4Runner (3vze v6) a couple years ago from a coworker that's had a problem with it since I got it. It started out not so bad, it would take a bit to reach desired speeds, it was more of an annoyance at first. What happens now is I'll hit the gas and it has little to no power and acceleration, the fastest I got it to was 45 mph. What's odd is it idles just fine. Here's a list of things my dad and I tried to fix this:
-Replaced TPS
-Replaced MAF sensor
-Checked fuel lines, pump and filter
-Replaced timing belt
-Gave it a tune up
-Cut the exhaust before the CAT and muffler
After all this, the problem only got worse. Today we replaced the TPS hoping to solve this, but the problem is even worse. I can barely reach 30mph.
Any ideas on what could be going on? Also, sorry in advance if this is in the wrong section
