NEED HELP ASAP ! 95 4runner 22RE overheating !!!
I have a 95 4runner with the 22re in it 4x4 standard, I've replaced the clutch fan the radiator has been rodded and flushed the block has been flushed and I just put a thermostat in it and drilled one hole 1/8" in it like everyone is saying and it's still overheating I'm at my wits end and I'm about to burn it to the ground please help !!!!! She idled around 1500 at cold start up and at 1000 when warm the head has been pressure tested and is fine, no chocolate milk oil, the radiator isn't losing coolant, the over flow is half way, new radiator cap and today the upper hose busted from the extreme pressure ! What should I do ? Drill another hole in the thermostat ?

Just how did the over heating start??
Did you buy the truck in this condition??
How old was the Top hose??
I would think the engine would seize before blowing a good hose.
By chance get the thermostat in upside down?/
Quite easy to do??
Did you get all the air pockets out these engines are known for air pockets.
Do you mean the cooling system has been pressure tested??
A head would have to be tested off the vehicle and you could still have head gasket problems.
