hey hey this is my first yota and my first post. Its a 95 4runner 3.o and im having trouble diagnosing somethings. It starts right up but sometime lopes at idle between 300-1000 rpms. Runs fine at low speeds and decent on flat ground up to about 50. No power on inclines. Downshifts from 3rd to 4th instead of 3rd to 2nd when i put my foot into it. Tuned yesterday(plugs wires cap rotor) but still problem persists. Any ideas? Thanks guys Im assuming tps but everything ive thought it was so far didnt seem to help
also getting very poor mileage like 8mpg. Friend of mine thinks it could be a clogged catalytic converter causing egr to create vacuum. any thoughts?
while im huntin for answers anyone have a clue what to do to clear rear anti lock light from dash?
thanks for your help

could my situation be attributed to a bad fuel filter? PCV valve? EGR valve? Ive checked and repaired all vacuum leaks I could locate? Any and all input is greatly appreciated

If it is loping, you have a vacuum leak. Vacuum leak = no power double check all your connections there really is not to many of them. There is one behind the intake plenum that tends to be ignored. Have you checked your timing, does the motor throw a code, have you checked?

No I haven't pulled codes but theres no check engine light on. I just had the injector o rings done by a shop last week b/c of fuel leak I believe they would have checked there when replaceing intake chamber

This says tps to me. Mine was off similar to yours and a "correct" timing with a badly adjusted tps sets it back to 0* advanced. Ran like total crap until I fixed the tps and re-did the timing.

Throttle Position Sensor.
It tells the EC how much throttle you are giving the engine and and the EC adjusts timing accordingly. Timing is a lot more advanced when you give it some throttle, and if the TPS is out of adjustment, it might advance timing for normal driving even if the engine is idling. Then you can get the high timing advance readings during the check at idle, and your adjustment will be off.
