94Toy 4 coolant leak
Wifeys 94 Toy 4RNR with a 3.0 V6 has decided to spit up anti freeze on the driveway.
Moderate coolant leak and it seems to be coming from the top of the motor next to the firewall around the crossover pipe area. Right in the middle of the motor so it drips down both sides of the motor.
Connections for the heater core seem to be fine so the leak must be below that. All freeze plugs that I can see appear to be o.k.
I can see coolant dripping at a reasonable rate on both sides at the bottom of the motor, but the air chamber/intake are so close to the firewall at the top, that I cant isolate the leak at the top where it originates.
It looks like the intake/air chamber need to be pulled to see where the problem is.
127K on this puppy and I was wondering:
Is there a common coolant leak in this area on this motor?
If so, what is the procedure to correct it?
Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks!

Thanks JD!
That sounds a lot easier than pullin the intake/air chamber.
Why does everything on a Toyodar start with "ya needa really long pair of needle nose pliers?"
Thanks!

Sweet pics MT Goat Thanks!
We were looking for some better views of that area and those are great!
Have the Haynes and a somewhat FSM but those are nice!
I checked the rubber hose on the water by pass outlet that JD suggested and that seems to be good along with the top of the water by pass outlet being dry.
The leak seems to be coming from just underneath the outlet. but with the crossover pipe, its hard to see. I have the left front wheel pulled and thru fender well, I can look up and see a drip, but not enough to determine where it originates.
There appears to be two steel lines running from the bottom of the outlet forward towards the intake that have some drips, and one area on the bottom of I assume the air intake chamber that has a slight drip.
Are there any other common leaks in this area on the 3.0 and what would you think would be the the next step?
Pull the hood to see better?
Pull the crossover?
Pull the air intake? [really dont wanna do that one unless its needed]
Thanks for all of ya'lls help!
