94 toyota pickup, led f&r turn signals don't work, hazards do
94 Toyota pickup, 4x4, 22re.
Short version:
Hazards work and turn signals don’t, with led turn signals front and rear. Any schematics or links are appreciated.
long:
With the normal stock bulbs the turn signals worked. Occasionally the turn signal would stay on instead of blinking; it would quickly correct itself back to blinking. So I install new led turn signals and led brake lights front and rear. All is good no fuses blown nothing plug and play, hyper blink, and all works great for a couple months.
Then the turn signals won’t blink; turn on, but no blink. Hazards work fine. I pull the flasher all connections look fine and solid, reinstall and now zero turn signal. All fuses under dash and hood are fine. I’ve read that the LEDS won’t draw the necessary current activate the bi-metallic flasher switch but why would my flasher still work with the hazard? Should I try a flasher with a wider amp rating? That’s what’s stumping me…
I’ll be going back at it tonight via FSM.
FYI, I searched, got a lot of bad ground (if so, where is the ground for this specific part of the circuit located) replace flasher, nothing concrete, lots of “could be”… just looking for someone’s answer that’s had this exact problem before.
Thanks, sorry so long winded.
