94 pickup fuel lines

I have a 94 extra cab 22re that I bought over a year ago and have been working on it ever since. Drove a few hundred miles and then it went down hill fast.

Done the Head gasket and now fuel pump has gone and need to replace all fuel lines as the previous owner cut the threaded portion of the bracket off and has been running regular rubber hoses mid way to the fuel pump.

I need to replace everything from the fuel filter to the tank and have been searching for days and still not sure if there are two flex lines. One from the main metal line to the fuel filter and maybe another from the metal line to fuel pump bracket.

Have been able to dig up some part numbers. Main metal tube along frame part # 77205-35190 and the bracket part # 23206-35260.

Could someone help clear this up for me and let me know how many lines I need and maybe some part numbers to complete this job.

I have been searching and on the phone but Toyota seem as if they don't want this info out there and I seem to get people on the phone that just punch computer keys rather than have intimate knowledge.

There is no flex line near the fuel filter (either side).

Whether there is a flex line at the fuel pump bracket depends (so far as I can tell) on the bed-length. http://www.toyotapartsoverstock.com/...rimLevel=18292

The easiest way to narrow that down is a dealer site that will use your VIN, like http://www.toyotapartsdeal.com/

I doubt you will find a part number for the hardline extending aft from the fuel filter to the fuel pump bracket. You will probably need to fabricate that from stock line. You could consider a salvaged part, but I wouldn't bother. You 'd have no way to adequately test it, and I believe that age results in some brittleness (which is part of the reason the line is bolted down so well).

There are two flex lines from the fuel filter. One to fuel rail and the other to the metal line. Motor does move a bit.

I can verify this as I have just ordered the three lines. A little more than 450$ can. For all three.

I will post part numbers when I pick them up next wk.

This is for the 22re. I see you have a 3.0

Red face

The 3.0 has a nice easy filter mounted to the frame.

The 22re has the one mounted to the block with the two rubber lines.

I really wish you well getting the lines off the fuel pump bracket.

That is most often where the real headaches start.

Bracket will be replaced as well. Previous owner cut off the threaded portion of the bracket and had a rubber hose with your typical hose clamp.

Can't get over the price of the three lines though. Oh well! On the road to a better more reliable truck.
