94 4runner underpowered anybody got any ideas??
My 4runner is really loosing a lot of power since i got it. It runs really rough when cold and sometimes even when its hot. It has no power. Any ideas what this is and how you fix it?

efi temp sensor, throttle position sensor, timing....
lots of things can cause the engine to run poorly.
maybe a little info on the engine / transmission would help...
...mileage, etc.

Im surprized nobody has mentioned GEARING!!! Looks like you are running good size meats. The automatic was undergeared from the factory. Those tires just made it worse.
Do a full tune up including: Oil change, plugs , wires, cap, rotor, air filter, o2 sensor and fuel filter...

ring and pinion gearsets, front and rear.
gives the driveshaft more mechanical advantage over the wheels.
not something you would want to tackle yourself.
listen to some of the advice here about tire sizes and gear ratios, then get a mechanic to do the work.

You should find out the stock gearing first. You can de-code the sticker on your drivers side door sill. Or do the spin-tire method..
