Drove my 4Runner to the gas station and filled up after replacing plug wires. After filling, drove to work where the truck began to stall after which it would not start. Checked for spark following the coil and none. Replaced coil and truck started. I then shut it down to clean up, after which the truck again would not start...no spark. Replaced Coil and Ignitor, still no start or spark. Checked cap, plugs, rotor, and distributor rotation...all good. The timing belt had been replaced 10K miles earlier. Brought the truck to a mechanic and was told it required a new ECM. Replaced and still did not solve the problem. I am told there is no injector pulse, no spark and the distributor is sending a signal for rotation. There is good power and ground to the ECM.

I have searched threads and found many other issues of no start however, these posts identified there was spark and pulse.

Looking for suggestions...Thank You.

Not sure what engine you have, but it sounds like no power from the ignition switch to the primary coil windings and/or the igniter. On the 22RE, there is a fuse under the hood for the ign circuit of the ign switch. Check for corroded fuse and socket, loose connections at the switch, or a pinched wire in the harness. A place to start anyway..
