Arrow 94 3.slow ARB snorkel help!

Does anyone have pics of the install to the engine bay? I was able to get the snorkel off of a buddy but the tubing was all lost over time. I researched but most pics are 22re. Soooooooooooooooo if you have a 3VZE with snorkel can you post a pic of the ARB plumbing, I would like to come up with a copy to it and make for a clean install

ARB just supplies the snorkel, it is up to you to figure out how to run it to your intake. At least thats how it works with the 22RE.

I've yet to see a set up like that, jeeps, tacoma's etc come with plumbing... it better for the kind of money they cost

Just thought of something - have you called ARB?

They have GREAT customer service, and would probably send instructions with pix, or even sell you the missing parts.

I would concur with TC. ARB might be a better resource than us. Furthermore you will need the instructions and template that comes with the kit.

For public knowledge's sake the ARB snorkel for the 3.0 is sold with all the necessary plumbing to connect to the bottom side of the air filter box. My snorkel was installed in 5 months ago so it is a recent kit. In a nutshell, the snorkel penetrates the outer fender skin. There is a rubber hose from the snorkel to a cast aluminum 90 degree fitting that is attached to the inner fender wall between the outer and inner skins. The output of the aluminum 90 goes into a hard plastic tube that is sealed and riveted to the intake of the air filter box.

I suspect it will difficult to use a solid hose from the snorkel to the air intake due to the bend radius and the tight quarters in the fender well behind the air box.

Id definitely call ARB and get the template and the missing parts. It will be tricky getting a hard tube to fit up in the fender..
this is for a 3.0
