94 3.0 code reader?
i have a 94 4runner with a random missfiring problem and was wondering if i can use a code reader to check my sensors? i was told that u cant use a reader on a 94.

Dang, beat me to it.
YOu should have a code reader in your desk drawer
If not, strip a short section of wiring and jump terminals.
There is a small black box with wiring going to it labeled "Diagnostics" under the hood. Jump the T1 and TE1 terminals, and count the flashes.
