93 runner, Help, check engine light no codes

Good Morning,

93 SR5 V6 4X4 with rebuilt engine.

I have searched and searched for this problem but no luck.
Cant figure this one out.
I have a check engine light with out a code?
When I jump the ECU for a code the check engine light constently flashes.
I replaced the cap, rotor, plugs, plug wires, fuel filter and water temp sensor. (I had a code 22 but went away with sensor change).
When I park it for 20 minutes and restart the light goes out. Once I reach 3000 rpm the light comes back on but no code just a steady flashing light?
The timing is way off but running good. Once I replaced the water temp sensor, I reset the ECU and set the timing. It ran great until the check engine light came on and then I had no power. Advanced the timing and runs great.
Possible O2 sensor or TPS?

Please help...

Are you sure you are checking the codes properly? Just to be sure, with the key off jump T1 to TE1 with a paper clip in the diagnostics box, then turn the key to on. Constant flashes with no pause indicates no code is stored, but since your CEL came on, then a code should have been stored. If the flashes of the CEL have a pattern (ie. 5 flashes - pause - 2 flashes - pause) then you would interpret that to be a code 52.

Hope this helps.

Thanks wrenchinjoe,

Thank you for replying.
I used a piece of 12-2 wire but yes, I am jumping T1 and TE1 in the gray diagnostic box under the hood.
Left hand side of the diagnostic box, top right pin and the pin in the center row second from the top if memory serves.
Not looking at the truck right now...

I have no idea where to go with this one...

Thank you
Ozzy

Id make sure you have a good connection in the diagnostic box.

You might wanna try pulling the EFI fuse for 30 seconds when its not running and put it back in and see if the code comes back

Thank you all,

I check for codes again last night. Still the same steady flashing light.

I will try it again...
