93 Pickup Lift Advice?

Hey guys.
I want to lift the rear of my truck about an inch as i don't like how it sits a little low in the rear. What would be the best way to do this? I was thinking blocks but I couldn't really find any blocks smaller than 2 inches. Any better ideas? The front is stock and I want to keep it near level. I'm still pretty new to 4 wheel drives so I'm sorry for any stupidity here.
Thanks
David

Is it settling because your springs are old? New springs would be the best fix. Could add longer shackles. Also search add a leaf and the ZUK mod. Lots of options out there.

An add a leaf is the easiest but it will wear out and warp your springs in the long run. Longer shackles also put the springs at a different curvature and therefore a different load so it could mess them up too. New lift springs are the way to go.

If it is just a slight sag...add a leaf is the easiest and cheapest. I've been real happy with mine from Pro Comp, but new leaf packs are indeed the best option.

Do you have a topper or something causing a heavier load in the back?

93yoter...dont get me wrong an add a leaf isnt going to ruin anything really quickly. In my 89' 4Runner i run a 2.5in Pro Comp add a leaf in the rear on top of a 6 inch rough country lift and in all my wheeling i never had any problems with it. Other than the one time my leaf pack bolt snapped and it started twisting out of the pack 😁

For minor butt-sag I would go with either an add-a-leaf or extended shackles like stated above. Add-a-leaf kits can be found as low as maybe $30 new. For shackles, it's 1" longer for every 0.5" height gain. Stock is 3.5" eye to eye. Shackles should be well under $100 for a set with new bolts and bushings. If you want more height, a proper leaf swap is the fix - these run around $300/pair for something like OME leafs. Good luck!

Does the add-a-leaf hurt the articulation or ride at all? I was trying to find longer shackles but I couldn't find any but tacoma shackles. I'll eventually just get new leaf packs as it sounds like the best way to go. Thanks for the help guys

If you are saggin, and you install an add-a-leaf, if you get the correct size, it should bring you back to stock height. So not affecting articulation or drive characteristics....except for some slight to moderate stiffness.
