93 Military Toyota Pickup

Ever seen a military Toyota? Well now you have. Well not really. I am a huge fan of military stuff, as you can see in the pics the deuce and a half on 48's. It will go anywhere, I swear. Anyway, it inspired me to camo my Yota. The paint was shot and the clear coat was not existent on a lot of it, so I thought why not make it look like a military vehicle. The beauty of Flat Military Paint is that it is super durable and if you scratch your truck you just bust out the color that was scratched and spray over and it blends right in. I just got a new rebuilt 22re installed and decided the truck needed a mild make over cosmetically. I get crazy looks everywhere I go. Anyway just thought I'd share my Yota.

Dude! I can see your truck still! No, but that looks good, man. I need to decide if I'm going OD or desert tan with mine. Where do I find that CARC paint outside the military?

Looks good! good paint job on yours, I hate the ones out where I live that look like they were painted by someone that was drunk with no talent and some $4 spray paint.... just doesn't look the same...

Waiting to see one in multi-cam or ACU, that would be hilarious (and disgusting in ACU), multi cam would look awesome

I like having people find me if I'm stuck on a trail in the woods.....

Looks great though. Can you mount a machine gun on there?

Buy from RAPCO Parts www.rapcoparts.com. They sell all the different military paint colors. You can get the satin or even semi glossy from WWII, The colors I used are the 383 Brown, 383 Green, and 911 Flat Black. The desert tan you often see is the 686 Tan.

http://www.rapcoparts.com/padenew.html this link has all the colors you can get. The 12 cans mix and match is the best deal. It only took me 3 cans of Green 3 cans of black and like 1 and half cans brown. But now I have a couple of extra cans of all the colors for touchup. I think they come out to $6.80 a can with shipping, and the paint is far superior than what you can get at Lowes or what not. Its super durable tough paint.

Yes 6x6, Multi Fuel, it will run on just about anything flammable except Jet Fuel. Diesel is the nicest to the engine, but I have heard stories of guys in Iraq putting straight whiskey through them. They said it didn't run good but got them where they needed to go. Has a 15,000 lb PTO winch. Oil change= 5.5 GALLONS of oil, Coolant= 8 gallons.

The 350Z is my baby.

Carrying the scheme through the Toyota lettering on the tailgate the way you did is a VERY nice touch. Nice to see someone paint camo correctly instead of just random paint blotches that don't actually camouflage anything.

Do I dare ponder what kind of fuel economy the 6x6 gets?
