93 4Runner Trans issues
I just got a 93 4Runner 3.0V6 and the a304 tranny I thing (has a long narrow pan) I got it for a deal not running sight unseen. 100K miles got a new engine at 44k miles for the warenty.
1st issue it didnt start, ran thru some things and replaced the computer with the same num computer..wee haa it starts first try.
Now it starts it doesnt drive, I let it sit warming up till it looks good on the guage. ran thru all the gears making sure fluid was flowing, in therory...
all gears it does nothing, trys to move but thats it under any rpm, in any gear, ECT on or off.
sence the computer is new there are no codes, check engine light just blinks constant as does the O/D light.
Fluid is full, doesnt look burnt, doesnt smell bad. was checked with eng running.
could this be a silonoid, or is the trans just toast, I can imagine that a tranny is bad after only 100k.
Any help hints greatly appreacted.
