Bought some 7x6 HID headlights for the 4runner. Spent $70 for the whole kit with the headlights. Easy installation just had a little trouble trying to wire in the hids. I got to get the 90 or 91 4runner grille so the headlights don't look so odd sitting in there.

Thats crazy! didn't know they made HID's to fit these models. I'm assuming these would fit a 92 4runner as well?

I did a grille swap and got the mounts from a junkyard. Spent $90 in all. The grille fit pretty great, just had to jam it in a little bit.

Yea I was disappointed when I seen he had to swap to a earlier style grill. I like the look of my 92 4Runner grill

New guy here, i think the first photo in this thread is of his rig with the stock grille. I think the grille swap was done after the photo. I am glad you posted this, cause i have been wondering if you could just drop 7x6 headlights in and be G2G. At this point, my headlights are so abysmally dim, i don't mind the trim not matching the headlights. ANYTHING would be better than the current headlights on my rig. Thanks for the post.
