93 4Runner has horrible acceleration/bogs down
Okay, I tried to search for this, but didn't have much luck. My 93 4Runner has horrible acceleration. I thought it could be the oxygen sensor so I replaced it and the problem persists.
When I first start the truck everything is fine -- I'll accelerate and everything is fine, then after a few seconds, the check engine light comes on and the truck bogs way down, causing the truck to shift at higher RPMs (sometimes as high as 3.5K).
As anyone else experienced this or know how to fix it?
Specs:
-93 4Runner SR5 V6 4WD (3.0 EFI automatic)
Also, the rear end shakes/vibrates pretty bad when exceeding 50 mph -- anyone know what's up with that? Align back tires?
Thanks!

check the codes ... that will give you a good idea of what is happening to cause it to bog
If your not sure how, just find the gray box in the engine bay labelled diagnostics or something like that, open it up and get a piece of wire and jumper the TE1 and E1 terminals. Then put the key in the ignition and the check engine light will flash. count how many times it flashes, and also make note of difference between long pauses and short pauses. For example, long pause - 5 flashes - short pause - 1 flash - long pause would mean you have code 51. make sense??
