Hi all,

I found a '93 4x4 4Runner that I am considering, 160k miles. It is cheap, but the seller says it needs a transmission solenoid. You have to shift manually through 3rd gear or it will not shift. Not sure myself, does it sound like that is the problem and how difficult is that to change?

Not looking for anything fancy, just something to replace my 2nd car that I use to keep the miles down on my new one.
