93 22re takes 5+ cranks to start
Guys,
Not sure if this s 'warm start ' issue or not..
Put on a new cap, rotor, plugs and wires a week ago.. truck started up fine and ran like new. I was having a problem with a bad misfire and this fixed the issue
Now whenever I go to start , the truck takes more than 5 cranks to start and idle. It will start but will not idle and the motor will eventually die..
Once it finally catches and idles, the truck runs perfectly fine..
Is this the warm idle issue or something else ??

All hoses on correct and sealed up? The Intake system gets dirty inside due to carbon build up from the EGR. Might want to try and clean it up. Sensors usually need a good cleaning as well. https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f198...l#post52044719 Shows how bad the sensor and EGR can be.
