92 V-6 Floods

I just recently purchased this truck and once in every 15-20 times of cranking it acts like it is flooded. I have replaced the cold water sensor and the start injector switch. It is not a constant problem so hard to diagnosis for me not being a mechanic myself. You can let it set for 10-15 minutes and it will fire off. While flooded it smells like old gas, but I have ran 3 tanks thru it and also a bottle of sea foam. Thanks in advance. James

It may not be a fuel issue, but rather a spark issue. Are you plugs new?

Could also be a clogged or leaky injector. Try running a couple of injector cleaners.

That's the easy stuff for starters.
