92 Slow blower motor!

92 Slow blower motor!
Well the blower for the heater in my truck(non ac) is very slow, it appears to be on low through all speeds, i can see the actuall motor too since i dont have a glove box.
what should i check first?

The fan gets direct power from the under hood fuse panel. 10G White wire. The switch in your dash is three different size grounds. I don't really know, there is a relay also. I bypassed everything and had a toggle switch for off/high.
The 'off' position is open.
The 'high' position is high.
The lower speeds have resistors or something to reduce voltage=fan speed.
All the cars i've messed with are wired this way.

Remove the blower, hook it up to straight 12V from the battery. If it blows fast at 12V, it's probably the motor has just gone slow(bad/worn out bushings/bearings, etc); Usually when the resistor goes bad, you lose all speeds except high.
