92 22RE 4x4 5sp - Timing, HG, Clutch. (planned for January)

Let's start this off the right way. Some quick background information to get this thread going as I plan on making plenty of updates as I go through the process of tearing down and rebuilding my 22re. I recently purchased a 92 Pickup (4x4, 5sp) and drove it almost 2 hours home with no problems. I will admit that once I got it home I played around a bit with the transmission/clutch to get a feel for it's condition. The clutch felt a bit wonky and it quickly got much worse. I parked the truck for the night, scheduled an appt. at the local shop the next morning to have it checked out. Bright n early I started the truck, backed out of the parking spot and stalled the engine after it wouldn't hit 1st gear. That was the last time the engine ran. It seized up completely (and by completely I mean 200+ lbs on a breaker bar on the crank couldn't turn it). I rolled the truck to park it and started a 3-day-test of my mechanical abilities. It got to the point that I either had to dropped the transmission to find the cause, or take it to a mechanic. I got it towed to the shop and they found a round-head, philips machine bolt lodged or loose in the bell housing (it was mangled, I have it somewhere so I'll try to get a pic soon). With a quote to replace the timing chain, guides, and put the engine back together for $1200.00...It is currently sitting in the lot, half tore apart, awaiting my finances to catch up and order parts for a full overhaul.

Here's where my plans start. After reading through a very nicely detailed walkthrough by '92 TOY' here:
https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f116/beginners-22re-timing-chain-failure-replacement-head-gasket-replacement-212688/
I feel fully confident that I can work through the rebuild. I will be ordering parts, supplies, and tools around New Years and plan on hauling it up to my Dad's garage to work on it. December welcomed northern KY with a good 1/2" of snow and rather chilly temperatures the other day.

This is going to be an ongoing project with updates as I go so please bear with me
