'91 scanner & check engine light
my neighbor bought a 91 toyota rv. he is an old man so i help him a lot. when he bought it his son ran the exhaust pipe into the mud clogging it up and turning on the engine light. pretty sure its just O2 sensors but i need a scanner.
its a 3.0L 6 cylinder. i have an OBD 2 scanner but dont have the correct adapter. do i have the right scanner? and where can i find the correct adapter to plug the scanner in? thank you in advance.

thanks. did some research and found this for anyone needing this info in the future. they started OBD 2 in 94 so this truck is OBD 1. on this RV, plug is on passenger side strut tower, not drivers side.

thanks again guys. just went over to my neighbors house and fixed up his rv. it was code 25, lean mixture, which can be caused by an overheated O2 sensor. with a plugged exhaust pipe....i can see that happening. thanks again
