91 4runner timing issue

I have a 91 4runner and when I put it in time (as the manual and schematic on the hood says to do) it will run fine at idle, but then if I go to drive it the cel comes on and it loses all it's power. What could possibly cause this???

I'm getting code 24 which is inlet air temp sensor, and code 51 which is ignition switch which I replaced with a brand new one today but I still have the same problem

I don't think code 51 is the ignition switch. 1988 FSM says, A/C switch circuit, A/C switch, A/C amplifier, TPS Circuit, TPS, (A/T) neutral start switch circuit, (A/T) neutral start switch. 1993 says, TPS IDL circuit, PNP switch circuit, accelerator pedal cable, ECM. I don't have access to a 1991 manual, but hope these will help. And I don't know what PNP is.

I'm kinda new to the diy diagnosis and I believe I read the codes wrong, I think they was, 24,25,21 which all can be symptoms of a bad o2 sensor. Does this sound more like what could be causing my problem?
