91 4 runner rear window wiring
I'm wondering if any of you wiring whizzes would be willing to give me a basic diagram on how to wire up my rear window straight of the battery with an inlne fuse... and switch type info would be great. I've never messed with wiring but figure with a picture to guide me it shouldn't be to hard, getting tired of messing with this GD window!
Thanks,
Derek

use a DPDT switch...available at any electronics store, find one that you like. You can wire it up like in the attatched image, or you can run the motor from the center terminals and wire the outsides opposite of each other with + / - from battery/ground. put a fuse on the wiring close to the power source your tapping into, should be the only one you need.
this method has never failed me. simply run the 2 motor wires back to your motor.
