90-95 4 runner vs. Xtra cab frame differences
Looking at swapping all of my running gear into a 90-95 standard or xtra cab. I found a clean 4 runner frame that I could get for a good deal. Besides a few body mounts, what else is different between the 2 frames?
Thanks for any help

You're putting the 4runner body onto the truck frame or what?
the 4runner frame and single cab, short box trucks are the same LENGTH. The 4runner has a lot more brackets on the rear for the coils and links. Xtra cab's frames are longer than both of those.

I have an 86 xtra cab with a fairly fresh 7mge, locked front solid axle with chromo axles, locked rear end with chromo rear and disc brakes and the lost goes on and on. I found some rot in my frame and am thinking of either building a newer truck or entertaining the idea of doing a runner. (little skeptle about it cause of the tippy factor) I just want to find a solid frame so i can get started
