'90 4runner starter solenoid switch
I seem to have an issue between my ignition and my starter solenoid. My starter solenoid isnt getting any power from the ignition. If i try to start her up, I get nothing. No starter click. I found the starter solenoid line under the hood and if I run a wire from the battery to the line then she will start right up. I know there is the starter relay in the fuse box under the hood - is there a fuse somewhere else? Does anyone had a diagram of the starter solenoid line?
Thank you!
Thank you!

Hey 4Runner316, welcome to YT! It would help if you told us the year of you runner. Also, if you haven't yet, peruse 4Crawlers' pages on the starter: http://www.4crawler.com/4x4/CheapTricks/Starter.shtml Go almost all the way to the bottom and he describes what you are talking about. I am currently in the same boat as you but it sounds like my truck is a bit newer then your runner as I have a relay under the hood. It is screwed to passenger fender near the big vaned resistor and the fuse box. Has a goldish metal cap crimped on it. If you have a relay, see if it is clicking. Also, ignition switch shouldn't be to hard to replace, I pulled all the plastic off my steering column the other week to clean under there and fix my broken horn contacts and it was right there.
