89 Runner No fuel at Cold start

I am working on a 89 Runner with a 3.0 in it, and it has developed a strange fuel system issue. The truck ran fine, then one day would not start, it just kept cranking but no fuel. I went down the checklist of problems and solutions and my questions have only grown. I tested and replaced the fuel pump, along with both the in tank sock and frame rail filter. I have good fuel pressure from the tank up to, and past the frame rail filter. With the flex line at the firewall disconnected i have ample fuel, and with good pressure(i dont have the fitting to test actual PSI at this location). At the cold start injector i have zero gas, and at the fuel pressure regulator its dry. Has anyone had a problem with the pulse dampener on the fuel rail blocking fuel? Thats all i can figure, is i knocked something loose in the fuel line and blocked the pulse dampener. thanks for the advice.

i'm not sure if it could BLOCK the fuel, but the fuel dampener has caused problems for people in the past.

trace it back as far as you can, if you got fuel coming to the fuel rails, as in the flexible rubber line that's attached via the bracket on the top of the passenger side head, but not at the fuel rail, then there is a blockage somewhere in between.

unbolt the fuel damener at the back of the passenger side fuel rail (i believe that's the dampener, right?) and see if there is fuel getting there.

if it's getting there, then just work your way forward until you find a spot that is NOT getting fuel.

if it's not getting there, then replace the part (could go used on this part..maybe find one with low miles.) if that doesn't fix it then it must be the hard line.

the hardline could also be pinched shut (for what reason, who knows lol) but it's possible.

Old post, new solution. Turns out the adjustment screw in the pulse dampener had backed out. Zero fuel was passing the dampener until i reinstalled the screw. Hope maybe this helps
