I traded a Jeep Scrambler for a 90 Toyota pickup. The pickup was crashed and the rear end was bent. I bought a 89 rear end locally for $100. In installing the rear end I found out the leaf spring perches are 3 inches wide not the standard 2-3/8. In trying to get new leaf spring perches toyota told me I need a vin. I do not have access to the vin and can not find any reference to this set up. If anyone can help pointing me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.
